Computing is embedded throughout the curriculum and there are various opportunities for cross-curricular links. In an ever-increasing digital world, it is vitally important that children feel adequately prepared to use IT with proficiency, confidence and assurance. Children are taught to explore, question, think logically and critically and be creative. Computing is a perfect way for children to do this and it is taught as a discrete subject with links made to other subjects where appropriate.

There is a strong focus on programming and developing children's understanding of key concepts and how computers are used in the modern world.
